Where is fade in mass effect 2

Harkin sets up a meeting with Sidonis, which leads to the final phase of the mission. After the cutscene, you will automatically arrive at the meeting point in the Orbital Lounge. Your job is to distract Sidonis while Garrus moves into position.

This is where the main decision for Garrus' loyalty mission comes into play. You can choose to either warn Sidonis that Garrus is here or move out of the way on Garrus' signal so that he can take the shot. It doesn't matter which choice you make - you'll gain Garrus' loyalty either way, so this is once again mostly about whether you're playing Paragon or Renegade. The easier option is to just move out of the way and allow Garrus to take the shot, as it ends the quest quickest.

If you warn Sidonis, however, and continue to talk to him after successfully executing a Paragon interrupt, Garrus will start to get annoyed. Meanwhile, Sidonis will open up about what really happened - mercs threatened his life and he revealed his squadmates' location out of fear. He feels guilty to this day and is haunted by their faces at night.

While Garrus doesn't forgive him, you can tell him that Sidonis is already paying for his crimes and Garrus will eventually decide to back down. In addition to more LOKI Mechs that will attack you as you descend closer and closer to the far end of the warehouse, you'll also have to deal with stronger and smarter Blue Suns Troopers. Ammunition here is a bit of a rarity in the original release, so make your shots count, moving over to alternate weapons if your weapon-of-choice is running low on bullets.

When all is finally quiet, you can scour the area for dropped ammunition, though, as we said, it's going to be fairly rare for whatever reason. At the end of this area will be a huge pair of warehouse doors. After grabbing those goods, head to the right-hand side of the large gap for more crate cover action with LOKI Mechs and the Blue Suns.

Use the cover to protect yourself as you return fire, and continue forward in a sort of inching fashion, not over-extending yourself. This is because enemies come out in droves here from multiple locations, including LOKI Mechs from shipping containers on the right-hand side. Rushing forward and dedicating yourself prematurely to a certain area can mean almost certain doom for you and your party. Once you've made it all the way to the end, turn around and backtrack a little bit for items:.

Now look for the Bridge Control Terminal in the nearby corner and use it to lower the bridge. You've fought these guys multiple times by now, but you'll be working in close-quarters here so cover is even more important than usual.

For an optional dialogue scene here in the office, you should additionally use the Window Console terminal to have a discussion with Garrus. The final part of the warehouse is very unique, because sections of the floor have been raised as platforms, and you can vault up them do that by taking cover, then hold forward on the left stick and press the Cover button.

What you'll want to do here is vault up the platform on the right side of the area, then vault up the next platform and take cover behind the crates on the left. This will put you in a very good position to take out the three Blue Suns enemies shooting at you, and you'll be out of reach of the LOKI Mechs.

Now for the final stretch. Head to the lowest part of this room and follow the path along through a bottleneck and up to a slope. Garrus will then say "Aw crap! Get to cover! Your best bet is to focus entirely on downing one target, and then the other. Once one mech is felled, the other one will fall much more easily.

Taking aim with his pistol, Garrus suggests darkly that he doesn't mind slowing Harkin down. At this point, you can use a Paragon interrupt to stop Garrus from shooting Harkin in the leg. If you do, Garrus will deliver Harkin a rather vicious headbutt as a parting shot instead. Regardless, Garrus ends the conversation with an ominous threat to return and "finish the job" if Sidonis doesn't show. Note: If Garrus is allowed to shoot Harkin in the leg and Shepard is female, choosing a certain dialogue choice afterwards will result in Shepard telling Harkin: "You're lucky.

I wouldn't have shot you in the leg. The squad takes a transport to the Lounge and in the transport you can either encourage Garrus or try to talk him out of it. Garrus points to a location where he will set up. He tells Shepard to draw Sidonis out and he will take the shot. Garrus leaves the cab and it takes off. Down on the ground, Sidonis is waiting and Shepard motions him over.

This conversation starts with your dialogue choice to either warn Sidonis or allow Garrus to shoot him. If you warn Sidonis that you are a friend of Garrus, he gets scared and begins to walk away. If you miss the Paragon interrupt, he dies. If you make the interrupt, Shepard warns him to stay still. You can allow Garrus to take the shot, or continue the conversation to learn that Sidonis has become haunted and depressed by his betrayal.

If you have enough Paragon points, you can convince Garrus to spare him, or you can step aside for the last time. If you persuade Garrus to let Sidonis leave, Shepard tells him to get out and that Garrus has given him a second chance. Sidonis leaves after thanking Garrus and Shepard walks away.

Once back at the transport you can discuss the encounter with Garrus and then return to the Zakera Ward Dock. Note: You will earn Paragon or Renegade points, respectively, depending on whether you prevent or allow Garrus to shoot Sidonis. However, since morality point notifications are suppressed by area transitions, you will not receive the usual pop-up reporting the amount of points gained. See the Mass Effect 2 Morality Guide page for full details on what point rewards are possible.

Harkin will put up a lot of raised platforms. Just go to the left and climb the stairs that the crates make. Kill the two light mechs at the top to talk to Harkin. Paragons need to use the interrupt to stop him. Renegades can let it happen. Garrus' loyalty mission all comes down to this. We have to make our decision. Does Sidonis deserve to die? Paragons can still get Garrus' loyalty. They need to start by warning Sidonis of the setup.

You then need to do the paragon interrupt to block Garrus' second attempt. The rest is fairly standard. You just have to keep talking to him and get the full confession. Garrus will hear it and come to a certain degree of forgiveness.
