The Waxhaw Community Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad is comprised of families serving other families striving to provide emergency response, prevention, and training that exceeds the expectations of our community. We are a volunteer fire department supplemented by part-time paid staff located in Waxhaw, North Carolina, which is located approximately 20 miles south of Charlotte in Union County.
We will do the right thing, at the right time, in the right situation to provide services and care beyond reproach, which garners trust and respect from our community. We will display an image that demonstrates the highest levels of excellence in our profession.
We will back up this image by delivering a highly skilled team in response to calls for service by our community. We embrace and devote ourselves to the community as our family and will continually improve our knowledge and skills to ensure excellent service delivery.
